As the University community we devote our purposeful and concerted efforts to successfully attain all aspects of our mission: through research, academic teaching as well as our impact on the social and economic reality on the regional and national scale, including also international relations. We intend to cultivate and promote our values thanks to the outstanding potential of the PULS staff, our achievements, heritage and traditions. We are determined to tackle the challenges of our times – to be a leader in inventions and innovations.
Role in the project
PULS will lead a task of providing new and improved evidence to support decision-makers, public authorities, and stakeholders involved in environmental, health, and
regional development. As the last task in the project, it will draw on previous
deliverables, including identifying indicators, models, and externalities as well as
insights from case studies and focus groups. The task team with external experts will
provide advice and recommendations on more effective tools, which mitigate
negative externalities and increase positive externalities in different terrestrial
livestock production systems. The work will contribute to the ambitions of the
European Green Deal, Farm to Fork Strategy and Biodiversity Strategy, and the next
Common Agricultural Policy legal framework.
